Pos or neg wire or does it matter? Lightforce lights

I'm installing some 240 and 170 lights and the wires coming from the lights are both solid orange and I don't know which one is pos and which one is neg?

Does it matter? One of the wires has some faint markings on it. Lights are sealed from back so I can't disassemble to look.

Thanks

Any 12v lights are DC, meaning the power flows through.
Sometimes it's important to have + on + and - on - , but not here I guess.
I'd put the one with the markings on + just out of principle...

Best way to find out is to do a continuity check on the wiring. Take the light apart, take the bulb out (don't touch the bulb's quartz envelope) and get in there with an ohm meter.

So, am I to believe that Lightforce brand lights are permanantly sealed, as in if a bulb burns out I have a doorstop now?
If that's the case I'd find another brand of light to buy....

They are not polarity sensitive. Just hook them up.
