headlight problems with water crossing

Ok so i was messing around today and went through some semi deep water, its a 3.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires and it was slightly over the tires so ima guess maybe 36 inches? anyway.. i went through the water and then on my way home my headlights would flicker on and off and now the left one is on and the right one out completely.. The left one will go on and off accordingly with the drivers stalk but I want the right one to come back on again.. dont need a ticket because of a broken headlight.. any suggestions?

Try replacing the blown bulb...if one filament is out, the other headlight will be impacted, etc...so you can have weird combos of hi-lo working on left but no right, etc....all from a burned out hi or lo filament.

That's a good starting point at least.
