Cruise Controll ???

My cruise illuminated on and off on the dash at random, when I try to turn the cruise off with the switch I can't. I usually got to wait awhile before I can turn the cruise off on the dash ( so it's not illuminated on the dash).

Anybody had this problem where your cruise will illuminated on and off on the dash at random and you didn't press the cruise switch.

If so what did you do to fix it...... Thanks.

Cruise Controll ???

My cruise control isn't working at all. Vacuum pump has been replaced and lines checked. Going to start researching more or take in to dealer. I heard there is something behind the steering wheel...?

Planning a run to the Rubicon in August (9+ hour drive) and want/need CC!

Did you get it figured out?

No I didn't get it figure out yet for me when Spring and Summer hits my problem goes away.

I am thinking it's my clock spring, dampness during the winter months. There is a recall letter for the Clock Spring so going to let the dealer replace the clock spring and see it if fixes my cruise problem.

So what part behind the steering wheel?

the clock spring is more than likely what he was referring to.
