Dome Lights - Dim and Only with Dash Lights Off...

So I took apart my Jeep to have it Line-X'd (which was a nightmare in itself, but that's another story) and now that I have it all put together, I find that the dome lamps are very dim and only come on when I have the dash lights/headlights off. What could be the source of this?

Also, my turn signals are flashing very quickly and my seat belt is chiming even though I'm buckled and the plug under the seat is connected. Should I just disconnect the battery for a few and let it reset itself?

Sounds like you have some ground issues. Did you pull any grounds from the body to get the wiring out of the way. If you did, make sure the connections were cleaned and bare metal contact is there.

If he was aiming down the sights correctly and had plenty of practice rounds under his belt, there would only be one side of this story.

EDIT: Thanks a lot John, it was the ground that I was aware of. Thanks for the tip!

I also unhooked the - from the battery for about an hour and it appears that the seatbelt issue is resolved.
