Bulk Battery Cable

I know in the last several months there has been several inquiries about where to buy cable to either relocate batteries or install rear winches, etc. Well while I was searching for something else electrical related I came across this page and thought I'd share it with you all. Maybe its a good deal for you maybe its not, either way its an option for those who have been looking for heavy gauge battery cable.

I know Warn uses 4 gauge for there rear winch wires so I would not go smaller.

I know ebay has some good deals on wire, or local audio shop.

I've had good experiences with Waytek Wire... 4 GA SGX battery cable is $1.07 a foot in black or red. Not too bad, but for a longer run like that I would probably step up to 2 GA for $1.49/foot.

Waytek has good stuff and I keep some of it around for proto/one-off work. The only downside is large minimum purchase quantities. Usually 100 feet for things like battery cable.

We use Waytek at work and I used it on Benchmarks winch isolator kit. Good stuff.

Don't forget to check with your local welder's supply. I got a great deal on 0 gauge from a shop here.
