Replacing radio

Hey guys I have a 2008 wrangler unlimited sahara with a touchscreen raio and a infinity system. Recently the touch screen went to crap and wouldn't work so I tried replacing it but the wiring harness for the 08 year model did not work. Does anyone know what I need.

did not work with what? Are you replacing your stock radio with the same kind or something different?

Is a Christmas Miracle supposed to magically make pictures of what does not fit become linked in the body of a post or to magically make the type of radio you attempted to inatall become known to anyone willing to sggt help ? By the number of posts you have, I would normally say,"welcome to JKO" but will add that, to get results here ya will get better ones via links to plenty of pictures for what you cant explain with wording and part/manufacturer/model#/brand/steps taken/detailed descriptions will make you not need magic elf pixie-dust to allow the rest of us to know wtf you're trying to make work.
Let's try again ,including the TYPE of device you are trying to use the OEM[factory] 2008 harness with that doesn't 'work' and link to some flicker or imgur or google photos images of the part that ain't working,ok?
Oh. Welcome to JKO and merry christmas.....

1- welcome to jko.
2-try the search feature
3- as noted, try being less vague and post some pics or usable info.
4- merry Christmas.
