LOD Bumper lights as back up lights.

Alright so I plan on tackeling this Saturday. My question is How. I have the harness that came with the lights but is it safe to tie into the reverse lights. The Halogen's look like they pull way more juice than the stock lamps. Am I a wuss and worried about the charlie fire that wont happen or what. I plan on using them as the primary back up lights when I install the PSC crusher corners with the LED tail light. Should I tie in or just run a switch and deal with that pain in the ass? Any help is appreciated.

I had mine tied in before I decided to put them on a separate circuit. I was tied into the backup light in the right tail light without issue. I think that is how most people do it, without issue.

I'm not worries about a fire, but I have mine wired separately. That way you can turn them on any time you want. Besides, the lights I put in my bumper are way too bright to be used as reverse lights. They'll blind people.
