Male Outlet Style Plug Near Battery

Hey all!

I recently purchased a 2007 JK Sahara. (one owner form Michigan, I wonder if they are on here?).

I discovered a male wall outlet style plug with a cap near the battery. It seems to lead somewhere down below the battery.

Anyone know what this may be?

I can get pics later if needed.

Block heater or a battery tender.

Thanks. Battery tender crossed my mind. Block heater may be a good suspicion as well. I'll searh those and see if I can't find what each one looks like and where it lives.

Thanks for the help.

Block Heater. Matches this exactly. http://www.quadratec.com/products/51001_100.htm
