L.E.D. status light location?

I'm installing an L.E.D. status light for my dual battery isolator, the type which you drill a small hole and you push it in. I'm looking for ideas as far as location on the dash to install it. Maybe some pics would help. Thanks!

Make sure you really want that light.

I thought I wanted to install it, but then once I read what the light actually indicated I have second-thoughts. The light does not just indicate that your main battery is low as a warning, it indicates every time the batteries are connected which means every time the isolator decides to let the alternator keep them both charged - basically way more frequent & useless lighting then I was interested in.

if it were me, i'd install it LOW on the left side of the steering wheel. near where the speaker is.... the side and center covers come off for easy routing and access.
