Gremlin in the system

Has anyone seen this before? https://youtu.be/ZnIMTCOZ2Tw

This used to happen very sporadically, like 1x in 2-3 months, it would last 5-7 seconds. Started doing it more and more.. Now she won't crank. To listen to her try and crank you would bad starter (battery fully charged, lights do not dim when attempted starting)

First day I had a no start i hadn't been in the jeep in @ 4 days so I thought it was a dead battery, that I left something on. Put the charger on it for a bit and it cranked right up and had no issues the rest of the day with 4 stops / restarts. Next morning NOTHING.. No crank, no start just loud starter click.

The other unique thing is I have CB hot wired directly to battery and even in off position the lights flash on the CB (which is has never done during normal start - not sure if it is an overload issue or what). I also have a high draw aftermarket stereo system that was professionally installed (4 years ago) that has not had issues. Not sure it is related.. But when your begging for help you paint as clear a picture as you can

Any suggestions before I lube myself up and take it to the dealer??

I know of two instances of this occurring and both had to do with a short in the sway bar actuator. Had either water inside or connections wet and corroded. Disconnecting the plug stopped the dash lightshow. Did you disconnect the battery cables and touch the positive cable to the negative and wait about 30 minutes to reconnect? That has been a sort of standard fix for crazy electrical shit. good luck.

I once had some random starting issues. It turned out to be a bad battery connection to the computer. New lugs fixed it for me . Food for thought.

My 2012 JKU did exactly what your Jeep is doing and I found out it was the ground terminal connection on my battery post.
It was just slightly loose so I took the ground terminal, (Cheap OEM Chinese Pot Metal), off and squeezed it with some pliers and put it back on.
It fixed the problem for about 5-6 months and started happening again so I went to the auto parts store and bought a set of those lead battery post ex-panders and put it on my ground post. When I put my ground terminal on my battery post, I had to gingerly beat the terminal on with a rubber mallet and I never had any problems ever again!

PS: Just traded the 2012 JKU in for a 2015 JKUR! Got top dollar for my trade-in and a really good deal on the Rubicon!
