Amp location

I just pod some 6.5 inch roll cage pods from Crawltunes and the set up I bought comes with an amp. Where is everyone mounting the amps ? Quick info I have no top or doors for about 6 months a year ( trail top ) I have harness seats in the front and I'm thinking about making a mount under one of the seats. Anybody do anything g crazy with an amp ? Thanks

its all about the crawl ratio.

I believe we are close in location, and I also swap to a bikini top (keep my hard doors though) around May/June.

I have mine mounted under the front drivers seat. You would think that it would be prone to water, and my carpet is pretty much wet all the time but it has been fine, numerous years running it like this with no issues.

I have mine under the driver seat because the passenger seat slides up allowing easier access to the back (2dr) and I didn't any one stepping on it and pulling wires and causing shorts. However, I have submerged it since it is the at the lowest point in the tub.

If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

lol, and, it eliminates the need for seat heaters, just turn the tunes louder.
