JW Speaker / Truck Lite

Currently I live in florida and have the Truck Lite LED headlights and love them.

I am moving home to NJ in 2 months and the headlights don't have the heater option.

So my question, after I searched I came up with no answers.

Do the JW Speaker lights have a heater to melt snow or is my only option to sell mine and get the Truck Lite LED's with the heater option?

No, JW Speakers don't have heaters in them, only the new heated version of the Truck-Lite led's have them.

its not about freezing, but heavy snow will build up and not melt.

As stated the jw's do not have heat. I have been in some very heavy snowfalls with mine and as much as snow will build up on the lens I've never had them cover over completely. Not really a big deal to me, I like a coffee stop now and then anyway when I'm driving in a winter wonderland and wiping the snow off isn't a deal breaker. I have no experience with the trucklites

I have the truck lites, i love em but I've had two instances driving in not necessary heavy but wettish/sticky snow where the lights were pretty much completely covered and they were giving off zero visibility.

I kept the halogen factory fogs for situations like this (subjectively, they give off as much light as the OEM headlights).

All this being said, this has only happened twice and they're great for the other 363 days of the year.

i hate my truck-lites in the snow. Any sort of wet snowfall pretty much guarantees I'll be stopping every 15 miles to move snow off my lights.

I've thought about selling mine and getting the heated versions but I just haven't had a chance to get off my butt and sell my current lights.

My rigid lights have the same issue.

My side view mirrors are heated but I'm pretty sure they are going to burn my vehicle to the ground after reading the last recall I got.

I had truck lites and in the right conditions they did ice over. Switched to morimoto sealed 7 projected HIDs which are far and above better.
