Replaced the Stock H13 Headlights today

So I searched for Ultra SilverStar lights or NightHawks but I settled on standard Silverstars today. I installed them and took the Jeep for a spin tonight to try em out. Well the difference is significant versus the stock H13 bulbs. A much whiter and brighter and certainly more defined light band is produced by the Silverstars.
I hope to go to a full HID replacement later , but for now the minimal investment in these bulbs was a good one.

2010 Sahara Unlimited. 33" Goodyear Duratracs, MOPAR Grab Handles front and Rugged ridge in back, SilverStar Platinum Head Lights, Gorilla Pod Video Camera Mount System,Kargo Master Kongo Cage,50" light bar, Rear tail light guards, gas cap cover locking, Smittybilt Jerry Can Holder, with Scepter military can, chopped stubby bumper... assorted decals . Other factory options.

I hear you. The stock lights straight up suck!
I put the PIAA's in mine. You are right, huge difference.

autozone makes some cheapies, about $40.00 and they have a strobe affect too. Much better than the stock candles

"Dude, did you see that Green Jeep out in the parking lot?"

"Yeah, its' mine..."

I was hoping to find the H13 (9008) bulbs in the Silverstar Ultras or other higher end sets but the Silverstars I bought do make a very significant difference.
The process was a little lengthy to replace a bulb as compared to some other vehicles, but it was fun to do and hey I got to take the grill off the Jeep!
It's not a major mod to be sure but if anyone needs a step by step on how to do it let me know.

Next i think I will look to see if I can get whiter & brighter bulbs for the stock driving lights... I am also looking for a reasonably priced place to buy replacement bulbs for off road lights.
