unplugging front seats

taking the fronts out today. i have no side airbags or anything so do i even need to disconnect the battery? anything else i should know about taking the seats out?

Driver seat should be no problem but you should have a plug on the passenger seat that needs to be unplugged (airbag weight sensor).

I removed both of my front seats to install my Katzkin leather skins, and I never disconnected the battery and I have had no problems. I don't have seat airbags either.

I always say. Better safe then sorry. If it was me I would unplug the battery.
