Leaky Battery

So I had a my original battery go bad at 34,000km and they replaced it under warranty. Guess what! The new one after only 2500 more km's is doing the same thing again. Battery acid all over the top of the battery again. The dealer said he checked the charging system and claims all is well. I personally think the charging system is overcharging and cooking the battery.

Oh well! they are going to replace it again and check it again on Monday.

Check the battery terminals. I had this issue on mine.

Get yourself one of those cheap voltmeters that plug into the lighter socket. That way you can see if it's overcharging while you're driving.

Dealer is gonna check it out again on Saturday. We'll see what happens with that. Failing all that. I will starting investigating myself. But its under warranty and they will fix it no matter how long it takes I guess
