Universal 77kick10 speakers?....

Hi all:

A long time back I made the mistake of buying off the shelve speakers, then cutting the factory pigtail to install them in the sound bar. Now I want to try the infamous 77kick10 kicker upgrade but without the factory pigtail it wont plug in. Does kicker make a universal 77kick10?, I believe I had read somewhere that it existed but you know how that goes.

Can anyone help?....

Thanks for your time.

Installed mine a while back so had do Google up a pic as a reminder.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it and just solder on a couple of new pigtails with generic connectors onto the pins. Put them on in such a way that you can't reverse the polarity. I don't remember if polarity is labeled on the speaker but you can check with a worn down AAA battery from a tv remote. The speaker will pop out versus retract if you have the polarity correct.

You may need a decent soldering station with a fine tip and precise temperature control like a weller station to get in there without trimming and heating the crap out of the other solder joints and crossover network bits. Bonus points if you can sneak some heat shrink over the solders pins.

A decent repair will last a very long time.
