Radio cuts out on bumps, ESP/BAS/ABS on harder bumps

2010 Unlimited Sport, I replaced the factory single CD/MP3 deck with a Clarion CZ702 and used the CANBUS adapter from Crutchfield (Metra XSVI-6522-NAV). I soldered all of the connections for the adapter and the radio harness, and covered them in heat shrink. This has worked great for a few months.

Cue the snow/ice storms of the last several weeks. After playing in the snow, I hit a bump and the radio cut off, ABS, ESP/BAS, and BRAKE lights lit up, and I heard a warning "ding". Lights were only on for a split second, then off, and radio came back on. Since then, depending on the size bump I hit, it varies. Small bumps just affect the radio, larger bumps affect the dash lights listed above and the radio.

I'm leaning toward a wheel speed sensor problem for the lights, but could this also affect the radio? Any thoughts?

Pull the abs sensor cables off each wheel and clean out and reconnect.
You can get to them easily enough. Fixed an issue I had that sounds similar

I had something like that. It got progressively worse. Turned out it was the TIPM gone bad.

I agree with others: check connections.

If it progresses to worse, then maybe think tipm.

I love Wheeling, it frees the mind
