Lets see your ipod mounts

I'm looking for a good way to mount my ipod touch, I see some that suction to the windsheild, some that plug into the cig lighter, and some that hard mount to the dash, any pics/opinions appreciated.

upside down in the cup holder

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

I bought an acrylic case ($9.99) for my Ipod classic, an aluminum cb mic button ($1.99). I epoxied the mic button to the acrylic case and now I can clip my Ipod to the Cooltech brack mic holder.

Firestick RMB-1 Universal Replacement Microphone Hang Button. I forget the name of the internet store I bought it at, it was a CB radio supplies store. I think Amazaon has it.

Cheap Clear Acrylic case from Amazon.

I have gone over a few bumps and it held up.

Go to http://www.proclipusa.com/ and purchase your holder. In my opinion, they make the best looking and lowest profile holders on the market.

this is all you need right here:

http://www.quadratec.com/products/17017_005.htm

I've been using for 3 years. perfect angle on the phone, and you can buy a variety of different bracktron mounts to attach to it:

If I can I'll grab a pic of mine later.

I also grabbed a LiquidAUX and ran it through the dash from the ount down to the the cigarette lighter so all the wires are hidden. no feedback or distortion at all... I never had luck with the fm transmitters.

Here it is in the Jeep:

joe... what are you using to mount the phone to the bracket? looks like something clamping it from the sides?

I got the Mobile Grip-it and the bezel mounting bracket through Quadratec.

$15and $17 + shipping. I lie it alot as it adjusts to different widths. Took about 1/2 hour to install.

The bracket is the same as shown in enigmaverse's post.I'd take a picture but it's 25 degrees out and I'm not stepping out quite yet

got Jeep got stuff, never enough of the right stuff tho

Am I in deep enough yet?

I use that one when I'm lazy. I usually use the right side up in the bottom fish net holder. I bought one of those Aux cords which have a Play/Pause Skip Forward/Reverse push buttons on it which hangs outside of the net, so I don't have to pull my iPod out of the fish net to change songs.

made this myself. i do sheet metal work for my job so i took a scrap piece of aluminum and bent it up on the break, fits perfect in my daystar upper panel, does not fall off even through some rough bumps, going to paint it black with bedliner to match the interior soon, should look nice. its not an ipod but its a zune hd and the touch screen is easy to use laying on its side i can just scroll through my songs without ever having to look at the mp3 player, also has built in hd radio. i like it

I use a 6" cable to plug it in to the radio and set it on top of the dash.

I have this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-K39.../ref=pd_cp_e_2

I took and cut the arm shorter too then put it back together with the screw and epoxy. Has held up fine. If you search the web you can find them for $10 now and again.

Wow, my daughter's iPod touch takes some shitty pics.

Otterbox Defender case with windshield mount. Mount was found on eBay. audio cable runs under the stereo cover and into the aux jack.

I dig it because it keeps the dust exposure to the phone down when I'm wheeling.
