yes its true.

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

Cobra 29 is the best cheap cobra, imho. if you're serious, the 148 has sidebands, but otherwise the 29 will last a lifetime, and has PA out.

As an aside on PAs, the cobra shunts the RX audio to the PA speaker too, while the cheap radio shack rigs often just have a PA mode which turns off the radio. I like turning the PA on when I get out of the jeep, so I can hear anyone calling while I'm sitting around a campfire or whatever.

anything that has the output or "pa" button on the front. More radios than not have that function.

Sorry dude, but that's not a 29! The 29's are their full-sized radios. I think you have a 19 or 18 there.

I'll second the 29. I'm gonna pick up a 29 WX NW BT here real soon. Can't wait.

75 WXST ?

There is a PA output on the "control box"...
The output is not on the "handle"...

Right beside the antenna connector:

That's not a PA output. That is for an external speaker. You can add a speaker to hear better but it does not have PA functionality.

I decided to switch stuff up midstream! lol I'm gonna get the Uniden PC78 Elite. Super clear audio on it, and all of the functions I need. Uniden direct is having a special on their refurbs right now, $88 and $1.95 shipping. Can't beat that with a stick.
