HELP!! Codes U1417 and C1020

I have these 2 codes. I replaced the left rear wheel speed sensor, but it had no effect. any ideas???

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR FAULT ACTIVE IN ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE
CAN C BUS CIRCUIT SHORTED
CAN C BUS CIRCUIT OPEN
ABS MODULE

2nd is CAN communication fault.
seems like #2 & or #3 from my previous post...
anything pinched anywhere under there?

Check the connector to make sure it isn't packed with mud... Check the tone ring where the speed sensor sits.. It might be packed with mud or water... Just guessing here..

yep clean off the sensor where it goes into the housing, my right front was throwing code and locking up brake until I cleaned it off, not sure why dirt on top of it affected it but it did.

Crap. I have to pull mt wheel spacer off to get to it. guess it will have to wait till next Saturday. replacing the heater core in the Blazer today. It's a pain to get to.
