Instrument cluster problem and solution

Have read a number of threads about instrument clusters lighting up, wind screen wiper working and cannot switch off, lights on, no indicators, radio coming on then off etc. we'll this has happened to me, and I've checked earths, fuses, removed m13 & j15. Removed battery, touched neg and pos leads together to discharge capacitors even fitted new battery. Now cluster is totally dead.
Been told by experienced auto electrician that it is the cluster and it needs replacing. If so problem I have is that jeep dealers in New Zealand have no idea and have told me that it takes two to three months to get a replacement.

If I need to get a instrument cluster is there anyone in the USA that I can contact to get one?

Tried googling replacement cluster and come up with nill.
Also googled the problem, and seems there are numerous possible discussions, not one seems to give a definite answer on how to methodically check system and solve problem?
Has anyone had similar problem and solved it?
Is getting a new cluster the answer, and from where?
Any help will be appreciated.

Looks like I'm talking to myself, however anyone who had the same problem. Here is the solution.
Got a OEM instrument cluster from US Speedo.com. They are great to deal with.

As you may all be aware they do after market custom clusters, but also repairs and replacements. Also found I could have got one from a moparoverstocked site, but would still have to get it programmed.
Sent US Speedo my Vin No. and proof of Kilometers, and they programmed the cluster, for my vehicle.
When it arrived (took about a week to get to NZ) disconnected battery, plugged in cluster, reconnected battery and everything worked great. Engine light came on for a short time and understand it was relearning history. Next time I started up engine light did not come on and hasn't since.
For the cost it was the best solution (and could have got a core charge back, but not bothered about sending it back).

Thanks for all those who took any interest.
