wiring question

he guys i have a pair of kc lights that i am going to mount on the side of my windshield, but my question is how the heck do i get the wiring thru the heat shield and into the inside of the jeep. i want to place the switch somewhere on the dash not in the glove box. how did you guys do it and does anyone have pics of the wiring?!?!?!?! thanks

IMO, The easiest way is to send them thru the ruccer gromet on the drivers side fire wall. It's down like a foot or so.
Anyway, I used a long thin screwdriver and lightly taped the wire(s) to it. Then pushed the thru. It was really easy.
Now you just lean into the cab and look up to the left under the dash and you'll easily see the wires and screwdriver sticking thru.

Pull the side panel off the dash when you open the door, can be done on either side, look towards the firewall and you will see a hole about a 1/2" round there that has some of that Monofoam type stuff in it. Poke a long screwdriver through there and viola! you are under the hood. Its a great spot IMO!
