2009 JKUR sterio questions

I have a 2009 JKUR and have a few stereo questions.
1) I have the dash tweeters and sub in the back. How do I verify if its the alpine or infinity system?
2) Are the lines running to the dash tweeters and speakers full range?
3) Does the sub run off a separate amp? If so has anyone rewired the sub to connect to the sub output of an aftermarket stereo? I would like to control the frequency and level at the head unit.

1. Wish I could help you, I don't know the year that they switched. IIRC it was 2012, but I am not 100% sure.
2. The lines to my dash tweeters were full range, but if you take the tweeter off, you will see there is a small cylinder on the positive side. That elminates any low(er) frequencies from reaching the tweeter.
3. Again, not sure since I had the base model stereo. I would assume that there is an amp for the sub, just not sure if it is run off the same amp as the rest of the speakers or not.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.

The housing on the sub on my '14 has an Alpine logo. Hope this helps.
