not a bad deal on it right now.

with the sale price and available online discount code for Sears it can be had for $148 right now.

Though I would like to hear why this is preferred over Optima and such. ( I run Optima in all my vehicles)

IMO Optima's suck since they started making them in Mexico. Diehard Platinum is a Hawker Odyssey best you can get.

Dealer for: MoTech, Atlas, Dynatrac, Rock Krawler, ORO, Currie, Poison Spyder, Bilstein, Fox, SWAY-A-WAY, Ridid, Adams and Tom Woods DS's. And much more!

I just replaced my stock battery with the Die Hard Platinum Group 34/78. I've been waiting a while for it to go back on sale - I missed it last time!

We run Optima in our company Rigs and they fail more than I think they should. Last time around I went with a Bosch from Pep Boys and it has held up better than the Optimas I ran before it.

Thanks a bunch. Any opinions on the NAPA Legends AGM batteries made in USA by East Penn/Deka? If I don't hear anything else by tomorrow I am gonna go for the DH Plat.

Yeah, my auxiliary battery is a Group 31 Deka Intimidator. I've had it for several years, abused it with deep cycling, and it's shrugged it all off. Great battery.
