4-Way Flashers ?

Ok all you electrical wizards.

When useing the 4-way flashers on the our JK's only the front and rear turn signals blink, is there a way to get the third brake light to blink as well ?

Good question.

If there is, wouldn't it then be a 5 way flasher?

If you did that, you'd essentially be bridging the 3rd brake light to either or both of your turn signals. So then your 3rd brake light would flash anytime you used the left or right regular turn signals. Not good. What's the point?

Yep, it will then flash with the blinkers. I don't see a reason for the 3rd light to be flashing..

I was just thought if it could be done it would give extra light in an emergency situation.

With a 37" tire hanging off the back of my JK it blocks the tail lights at certain angles. I mounted my third brake light into my hardtop just above the rear wiper. Nothing to block the light that far up......
