An Aftermarket Alternative to MyGig?

So I was browsing one of my favorite places to find cheap electronics, and I found this:

http://wholesale.alibaba.com/product...olesalers.html

And I was wondering if anyone here has been brave enough to try it?

compared to http://www.300cforums.com/forums/wyc...ygig-sold.html , it's a 1/3 of the cost, and the bezels seem to match enough for a smooth install, but I wonder what the UI would be like, and if it would even work, given the anecdotes I've heard about guys installing second-hand MyGigs...

Very cool...
Mygig has a 30 gb hard drive and that one has 64 MB though lol

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

I was watching the video for the suspension test of Outlaw Offroad's Alpha 1 kit and they should a kenwood unit (I think it was kenwood) that fit perfectly and looked like it was stock. You may want to give them a PM and get information on it as another alternative.

My local stereo shop did some research for me already, and there is a relatively cheap plastic bezel that enables you to put a standard 2-din head unit into the Jeep's dash, (the stock unit is about 1.5" wider than double DIN) with a factory finish. But try finding a 2-DIN head unit with DVD/GPS for less than $500...
(the shop I mention has a dead-sexy JVC unit for ~$1500)

to be honest, the only reason I hesitated on buying this at all, is that it's sight-unseen from china, and usually the return policy is non-existant on this stuff. I was hoping to find someone braver than me who already made the "leap of faith".

Check your local craigslist, they pop up from time to time on the craigslist here.
Saw a nice eclipse the other day for 350, 1000+ dollar unit.
