4 Plug Towing Harness Install Questions

How are you guys mounting the plug? Anyone have pictures of the factory plug mount?

I'm going to install the 4 plug wiring harness and hitch on Saturday. Then going to the dealer to get the oil changed and the ECM flashed for the hitch harness.

I just zip tied mine to the hitch where the holoe for the chains is, cheap but it works. Also, I don't think you have to flash anything, it just works since it's just a y-adapter off the brake lights...

I think the flash lets the pcm know you're gonna tow stuff. I figure if there is a reflash, when we get the hitch I'll take it whatever it is.

Found this on Jeep Forum, not sure of the accuracy.

09 towing package also comes with "sway control". where the computer applies to the brakes to counter swaying.

I had no idea about the flash...

I have the hitch on my 09 and trying to find a good deal on the 4 pin harness.. I am not sure if a reflash is worth the money... can anyone comment on the "sway control"?

The box said "Requires Windows 95, NT, or better", so I installed Linux
