JK is highspeed can bus

an update might work but if it turns off it may not have time to start the update process.

a dealer might be able to fix it but since it didnt come with the jeep you would have to pay for it.

http://mofv.com/mygig/ for the unofficial mygig site. most of us use it for updates and help

low speed mygig will not work with the JK. the JK uses the High Speed CAN Buss. find out if you can trade your low speed mygig for a high speed mygig from the seller. maybe you can get a trade

There is nothing the dealer can do....unless they give you a high speed cann MyGig for your Low speed one. The high speed and low speed cann operation is dependent upon the hardware inside the MyGig and a software update can not fix this.

You bought the wrong MyGig for the JK.
