Show photos of your CB mount locations

Need some help deciding on a good place to mount a full-size CB in my 4 dr. I currently have a handheld that has gotten old; time for a replacement. Thinking about changing to a full-size.

Thanks

I am running a Cobra 75 with a Mic extension and a Cooltec Versa Mount. The silver plug in the lower panel is all that is visible of the radio and that is where I plug my mic in.

I put my Cobra right on top of the console. No pics, but I'll get some posted. I made a mount for it out of some diamondplate and it looks like it's supposed to be there. The only bad thing is that it's right out in the open for anyone to take it. I've been lucky so far. It's been there for over a year now and I hardly ever have my doors on.

I mounted my antenna on top of the license plate holder and like that pretty well. It looked like it was going to be really flimsy, but has held up like a champ. Pics to come!

YUP, right above the rearview mirror, immediately adjustable with right hand, keeping eyes on the road, no flooding, no chance for damage, available for passanger use--PRIMO

That is pretty creative. A little clean-up, and it will be nice.

This is about as clean as it gets, I guess. This could be the safest way to go. Plus, nice space for the peace-maker.

How much are these console running now?

Thanks

Thought about that idea but my GPS is up there. I like the way it sits, so don't want to mess with that. Thanks

Well, thanks Jimbo. Now I have to buy additional rollbars

Don't have those yet but someday.

Thanks again. Nice set-up you have.

Thank you all for the input. I will get this thing figured out. Just not much room to work with in these things, is there?

I love the cobra 75, just unscrew the plug when you get home and put it in the house, no need to worry about it getting stolen

I do like the creative mountings you guys do though.

hey RG that console have any holes in the bottom of the storage? think I may get one one day but dont want to fill it with water

That's pretty nice. Didn't realize there was that much dead-space behind that panel.
