Right turn signal makes fog lights turn off

Attachment 120946Can anyone help here? When I have the fog lights on my 2011 JK on, and I turn the right turn signal on, the fog lights turn off. Has anyone had this problem before? How did they fix it? I don't know anything about wiring. A little more info on this. I just installed the JW Speaker replacement fog lights, and I used an after market wiring harness. I thought it must be the lights or harness causing this, so I uninstalled everyrhing and put back in the factory lights. Still same problem. I think it my be the multifunction switch on the turn signal arm. if I barely brush my finger up against it the lights flicker. I am going to replace the Multi function switch, but would still like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

I have not been able to replace the multifunction switch. Has anyone had success with this?

is the stalk in auto headlamps?
I know Daytime Running Lamps are designed to do this... never paid attention to fog lamps
My best guess would be a resistance problem in the stalk.... this of course is as simple as removing the shroud for the column, remove the retainer screw (torx head IRC) and change the switch
