Amp Question

Other than the Alpine PDX5...has anyone found another aftermarket amp (4 channel) that will fit in the stock amp area (Under the steering column)? I'm going to run the powered Basslink for my lows, so I only need a 4 channel for the existing OEM speakers (Upgrading later.)
I have the MyGig with the non infinity system.

I was thinking of the Bazooka ELA60.4 which has dimensions of
8-1/2"L x 10-1/4"W x 2-5/8"H. Looking at the PDX5's dimensions, that seems like it would fit in the OEM amp spot.

Any thoughts?

Well the PDX5 is a 5 channel amplifier....I looked through a big line up of 4 channel amps with similar dimensions. Didn't pay attention to price or watts....just dimensions. Let us know what you end up using!!!

Here they are:

-Kicker 08DX200.4

-Alpine MRP-F300

-Sony Xplod XM-4S

-Kenwood KAC-8404

-Eclipse EA4200

-Focal Solid 4

-Alpine PDX-4.100

-Kenwood Excelon XR-4S

-JVC Arsenal KS-AR8004D

-Alpine PDX-4.150

-JL Audio HD Series HD600/4

-Sound Storm SSL F4.400

-Boss CX350

-Autotek AT950

-Power Acoustik LFA4-840

-PowerBass ASA 400.4x

Looks like you got a pretty big selection there...there were ALOT that were close. Like around 12"L x 10"W x 2"D or a little more but I know space is cramped up there so the list only includes amps that are the same or within ~1/2" on any side.

Good luck!
