MOPAR LIGHT BAR

Anyone have the mopar light bar, im reading you dont have to cut the plastic between the bumper and grill in order to place those brackets. But i just dont see how else to get the brackets in. i have the '12
any experiences w this? if i have to cut i dont mind, but if its possible id prefer to avoid it.
thanks

I have a 2013 JKR and installed the light bar without cutting anything. I did remove the plastic shroud that hangs below the radiator and then reinstall.

Because of the cutouts in the mounting brackets the RR/Mopar light bar is subject to annoying vibration.
When I had mine, I welded the brackets solid (but had to cut the plastic shield). This was not enough so I added a support from the middle of the bar to the bumper.
Also found a different (more reliable) way to lower the nuts in the frame.

In the end it was still not good enough so I went for 10x10W LED lights bolted on the bumper.
