Wish me luck!

Well I made an appt with Magnussen Jeep in Auburn,CA to get a couple TSB's done. 06-004-07 and 06-001-08. I get the rattle sound unless I put a little pressure on the clutch pedal (throwout bearing correct?) and the creaking sound sometimes when depressing the clutch pedal all the way (clutch plate or cable yes?). On the phone the guy sounded like it would be covered, lets hope the story doesnt change when I get up there to drop it off on Monday. :fingerscrossed:

Any advice or suggestions to get them to warranty the TSB would be appreciated. He did mention something about the clutch being not under the lifetime warranty but was under the 3yr/36,000 mile one? I can't afford to pay for the work so p-p-p-please be nice and cover it Magnussen!

Just got back from the dealership, pretty good people up there, unlike the ones close to me, well worth the 20 mile drive. The looked the Jeep over, were able to duplicate the fault, looked at the TSB info I brought em and decided to cover it. They are ordering a new clutch kit and Ill be back up there in a couple days to get the TSB done. High Five to Magnussen Jeep in Auburn. BTW got to see a couple SRT Challengers up there. Dead sexy, wish I had the kind of $$$ that would let me pick one of those up too.

I had that happen to mine from the day I got it. They had to adjust the cable location inside the engine compartment, that is what they told me. They tried greasing it twice before actually looking at it. No charge.

Just got the ol JK back. Magnussen is awesome, did the whole clutch TSB @ no charge and also noticed my power steering pump is whining a little bit, new one on order again at no cost. I told them while they're under there if they find any other warranty repairs don't hesitate to do them too!

And wow what a diff on the clutch now. I dont know if it slowly got to where it was or what but its so much tighter now, engages almost immediatly after leaving the floor and doesnt take nearly the pressure it did to depress the pedal.

WOO HOO and high five of the day goes to Magnussen Jeep/Dodge in Aururn, CA

It's good to hear that folks are standing behind their words when it comes to the warranty. Thanks for the post.
