My Ongoing Rear Bumper Saga

3/13 Order ACE rear bumper/carrier combo from American Four Wheeler
4/9 Take BDF Rigid fog light brackets to local powder coater, make the mistake of telling them " no hurry" as the bumper has not come yet.
4/16 Call powder coater, not done yet will have them the next day
4/18 Recieve bumper and carrier and other than some scratches pretty happy with it.
4/19 Stop by powder coater, can't get brackets because they are locked up and the only guy with a key is sick. Told to come back the next day.
4/20 Same bullshit story from powdercoater, offers to meet me the next morning (early I tell him), offers it at no charge. That evening, begin install on bumper. Find that ACE's tailgate mounting plate does not fit my JK. Discovered there are two types of tailgate exhaust vents, and the ACE plate does not fit mine. Emailed ACE, awaiting a response from them.
4/21 Still waiting on the powder coater to call, my version of "early" AM is before 0830. I call him at 9:15 and get a sad story about how busy he is and he "can't help that everyone called in sick". no brackets today.

Lessons learned-never use Jacksonville Welding and Powder Coating if you are in the Jacksonville FL area and check your tailgate vent if you are thinking about the ACE bumper. I am sure they will rectify this, but this whole damn saga is pissing me off!

Go buy a can of Duplicolor spray-on bedliner and make it your friend. Powdercoating gets scratched and unpretty really quickly.

Thanks, right now I wish I would have gotten a 3.99 spray can at Home Depot given the level of shit I have had to endure with this.
