GRRR PROCOMP

Seriously. I ordered one 7005 17x9 wheel like 2 months ago. Its still on national backorder. Its been like 2 months and everytime I check I get "2 more weeks." Its been 2 more weeks for last 4 weeks. This is bullshit

It's not just Pro Comp ya'll...almost all of the wheels are made over seas and there have been huge, huge issues with getting wheels.

I understand their wheels are made of chineism, but they could do a little better job projecting their lead time IMO

No one has been able to give honest and accurate ETAs in the cast overseas wheel market for some time.

Almost all of the wheel manufacturers have this issue right now.

All I'm saying is you aren't alone and the guy giving you the information isn't just BSing you...they really don't know. I'm still any way! It does suck!!

I'm just worried about getting screwed and them discontining the model and being stuck with 4 wheels and not have the matching spare. I would be pissed.

I ordered x5 ATX SLAB R17's On a Monday and had at the shop on Thursday.
The casting for the slab comes from China like everyone else's rims but they are machined and polished in the states. This is as close as I could get to buying American when it came to rims. Walker Evans are shipped complete from China.I wanted to purchase made in the USA only parts for my rig and this is the best I could do when it came to rims.

was told it would be another 45-60 from yesterday's date today. This is insane. If I didn't already have 4 wheels, I'd buy something else.

If the lead-time is that bad on those wheels ............ sell the 4 that you have to somebody else!
Supply and Demand = you make some $$ to buy other wheels (that are available).

I guess I shouldnt tell you I picked up 5 of the ProComp 7005 17x9 about 3 weeks ago for $200. They are used but spotless! They are nice wheels, look good on a black jeep and seem to be brutaly strong
