It uses cables? I just pop the sd card in. Is it something specific or just a mini or macro USB?

From what I have seen GoPro has only gone above and beyond in customer service. You must be doing something wrong.

Chances are its just a mini USB...
Check to see if your phone charger will fit (if you have a smart phone)

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

nope its different

the one on the left is the plug for my gopro
still popping the memory card out would be the easiest and cheapest - memory card readers are only a few bucks vs $30 for a new cable from gopro - unless you need the tv display ability too.

Thats a pic of a micro usb vs. a mini usb...I don't know why they don't just pick one and stick with it...

GEEZER,

Listen, just buy a MINIUSB plug. You can even take the thing to Radio Shack to make sure.
But really BOB, just take the SD card out when you download.

Bob is old, really old. I forgive you for the question Bob. Now get off AOL and turn the computer off. Walk away and let the vacuum tubes cool down.

While I agree with not bothering trying to get a replacement cable direct from GoPro, my card is formatted to my GoPro and I can only delete and change files when it is plugged in through the cable. If I take the card out and use a reader it will not let me do anything but copy and look at the videos and pictures.

Plus, chances are you need a cable to charge. I really need a wall charger though.

piperbob,
I had great customer service from GoPro. Hmmm...

Anyway, I've got three GoPro camera's so I've got a spare cable somewhere. I'm in Ormond Beach, if you care to drive over (as I'm not into mailing things) you can have one of my spare cable.
