I HATE the Friggin electric door locks

Why is it that when you park the JK and shut it off, you get out and all the other doors and tailgate are still locked, drives me friggin NUTZ! Virtually every car or truck I've owned in the past 10 - 15 years, when you park it, the doors unlock.

Is there some way to fix this, it's just a PITA

Yes, RTFM, the first two things I changed in the Jeep were "unlock all on exit" & "seatbelt chime off".

The one that really irritated me was the horn honk when locking the doors. I never did find that one in the manual but luckily somebody on one of the forums knew the sequence to kill it.

Here I searched for ya too

LMAO - Nice.

OP - there's a little key/unlock dance you do to get rid of this.

Fortunately, my '08 came with the feature turned on already =)

Now, when wheeling with doors off... I always look dumb when I get back to camp and yank on the gate then have to walk back up to the front to hit the key fob.

Yeah I too had the "unlock all on exit" activated by default.

Do what I did and buy it with manual locks and windows, my arm will work a helluva lot longer than some damn electric motor.

2008 Jeep JK Unlimited Rescue Green NSG370
RK 3.5 X Factor mid arm
37x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers
PSC BFH trail stinger
PSC narrow fenders

A lot more to come very soon!

Send a message via Yahoo to JohnnyWalker

My 08 was like the OPs from the factory, but after the 7th or 8th time of putting the doors back on, mine went to all unlock on its own. That's when I started researching the key/door unlock procedure in case they went back to the original configuration
