Happens Every Time...

...I buy something and it goes on sale a few days later.

Ordered an anniversary gift for my wife on Saturday. It arrived today.
Looked at the web site tonight and see it is now 20% off!

I e-mailed customer service hoping to get lucky with a credit for the difference.

Happy Anniversary.

IDK- Some of us would be more than happy to pay full price on an Anniversary gift. Not really something you can put a price-tag on.

Not until April but thanks anyway!

20 years.

Yes she is worth it, but the extra $$ could put gas in the Jeep to take her out!

Yeah well maybe for some but my wife knows me as a redneck Jew and I will find the bargain basement price, and if I didn't then my wife would know I just grabbed some crap and didn't put any thought into it. Of course if I were in your boat my wife would make me return it and then repurchase it with the discount.

My thoughts exactly. If they won't refund you the difference, can you just return and reorder it?

No need. I got an e-mail this morning that they are refunding the difference.

That is what I call customer service.

Its just a lot easier for them to give you the difference than to have to process a return and another purchase transaction.

However, not all vendors understand this concept.
