Soft top starting to crack

Noticed today that my soft top is getting a crack in the fabric. Right were it folds when I open the sun top. Its on both sides right above the door. Also i noticed on some of the stitching just below the cracks i can see light on the inside where the stitching is stating to pull away.

The cracks are on the outer shell of the top. About 1/2" long vertical. I guess ill have to make a appt sometime to the dealer for hopefully warranty work. Bought new in feb 09. 15k on the od.

Or maybe i should start looking for a used hardtop.

That doesn't sound right. 51k on mine, rubs on trees and rocks and doesn't tear. I do have a tear, but that was by accident slamming the top into the tree. Something's not right.

If you think the 2010 material is softer, do you think it's better??

Haven't had it long enough to notice. It feels much more flexible than the 08 top.

Will see what 12 months of Aussie sun will do to it....the 08 was no match for the sun down here haha.
