Searchers 4wd - Prairieville, LA

Anyone live near this place? Any experience with them?

I placed an order a couple weeks ago for a pretty simple part - a winch solenoid mount made specifically for my AEV bumper.

I'm cool with waiting a bit, because it seems like a small operation, but they don't answer email much, and their phone message says they are in the process of moving.

I did get an email response once, early last week that said my part should be shipping by Friday. no such luck on that front.

If anyone knows the guy - mind helping me out?

UPDATE:

Used a little Google-Fu and found the owner's cell-phone number on his local 4wd club's recovery list. Gotta love the power of the internet.

Was told that their move is taking longer than expected so their email and normal phone number is inaccessible, but my part is apparently boxed up and ready to hit the fedex drop-off in the morning.

Yeah, i been over there before. They dont seem like the kinda folks that would stiff you. I dont know them real good, just the idea i got from talking to them. I never did business with them tough.

they did a ton of work on my jeep.......nice group of guys, but don't expect them to get in a hurry. they told me that they would have my jeep done in 3 days and ended up having it for 3 WEEKS!!!

Does anybody know who has the Pearl Blue 4door in the Denham Springs/SherwoodForest Area with XD wheels and grapplers and slashcut rear softtop, prob about. 3-5 in lift? Wanted to ask a few questions and take a look....

searchers is not known for customer service or great pricing..i got quoted 2k for some labor..a shop locally did the same exact work for 400..
