Thumbs down Jeep UK

They have dropped all models except for the sahara automatic, and renamed it to the Ultimate.

They have also put the price up.

I was prepared to pay £17k (discount price available 6 months ago) for a Sahara Unlimited Auto, but not the £27k they are now asking for!

With many Jeep dealers closing down, I am beginning to wonder how long Jeep will remain in the UK.

We don't even get a choice of colour.

At this rate, it would be cheaper to by in the USA and import. If only I could get the crd over there.

Now looking for secondhand models, but I suspect the price for these will now increase.

Dude the sucks. Maybe time to move to the Colonies. Need immigrants from Europe, we already get too many from our southern neighbor.

Can you not order through a European Dealer?
- Always used to be much cheaper to do it that way...

What are they doing/thinking over there? Here we have people waiting and hoping for the crd. And now you can't even get that or manual transmission or a Rubicon.

You say you get no choice in color. What is the chosen color for the UK? Are they all that cool charcoal pearlcoat color?

You spell color funny over there.

At the moment, on the Jeep website, the only colour available will be black.

I have heard on the grapevine that Jeep are currently changing the website, and when it is completed, we should have the 'build your Jeep' option similar to the USA site, although I don't expect we will get the full range of options, just certain packages. The bad news is dealers can't afford to discount the prices due to the exchange rate. I've also noticed the price of 2nd hand ones are higher than last year, a by product of selling fewer Wranglers in this country.
