Rear Window Gap

I have a 07 JK unlimited and for some reason there is about a 1.5 -2 " gap between the bottom of the zip up rear window and the tailgate. Any Ideas?

I would check that your clips on each end have not popped up and your bar is correctly inserted into them. I believe they came out with new clips in late '07. You can zip-tie them on to keep them from popping up. Hope that helps.

Who's pickin the banjo here?

I would say you are missing your tailgate bar that slides onto the bottom of the rear window and the clips that snap onto the bed rail that holds the bar. Did you buy the jeep used?

here is link to pic of one http://www.quadratec.com/products/11033_400.htm

here it is cheaper http://www.moparonlineparts.com/part...&siteid=214954

you also need the clips that hold it http://www.moparonlineparts.com/part...layCatalogid=0

you're welcome, that bar will slide onto the bottom of the rear window and clip into those clips to seal the back.

here is a video on how it works http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/soft_t...oft_top_guide/

My clips were crap. They would not stay connected to the tub if the soft top was on. The dealer replaced them with a newer model. I think there was a TSB on this.
