my Kids bike just got stolen this morning

I'm pretty pist right now, Go out the door this morning and my kids bike is GONE!!! the lock is sitting there and its gone. The day after Xmas and this is how we are treated.

I f*ckin HATE other people's kids. I'd really like to drag that little F*cker around behind the jeep for 20 miles and break all his limbs and leave him for dead out in the country in a plastic bag with his broken arms zip tied.

Current project jeep 08' wrangler 2dr
Past jeep:
- 07' Rubicon 4 dr, RAMICON- 3.5" ROCK KRAWLER Coil-Over lift
- 5.38 gears- Gusseted/Trussed/inner sleeved
- 40" Pro Comp X-Terrain

If the bike was new and you bought it with your visa it might be insured. Visa replaced my son's when it was stolen, I did have to make a police report.

I had that happen when I was about 7. I had worked and saved for a year to buy a bmx that was $350. This was back in the 80's so that was a lot of money for a bike and a hell of a lot of money for a 7 yr old. Home owners insurance bought me a new one since is was stolen out of the garage. Come to find out it was the kid across the street and I got the bike back. The cop and my dad made the kid buy the bike for the $350 since that was probably the worst punishment for him since he was a kid.

It has happened to me so many times that I don't get pissed any more. By my count, we're at 6 bikes now (and I do live in a nice neighborhood). The most recent one was my 13yr daughter's back in August. She rode it to the neighborhood pool, but forgot to lock it while she was swimming. Bike disappeared.

I'm sure the vast majority are teenage punks that are just stealing them for the "thrill"... The river near our house is very low right now due to a big lack of rain. My wife was walking our dog down by the bridge yesterday, and she said there are at least 10 bikes laying down there where the water level was. So yeah, the punks are stealing them, then throwing them in the river to avoid being caught.

Mabe the thievin little bast**d will ride it into oncomming traffic. My dad always told me "Son. There is nothing worse than a liar and a thief." I guess this little f'er missed this "man to man" talk. Hell, wouldn't be surprised if the father was an accomplice. He's teaching his kid to cut locks for a living. That sucks Hoss. Stealing a kids Christmas is like dating your cuzin. You just dont do it.
