Poor Quality

I was hanging out at a friend's shop yesterday and there was an available lift so I wanted to take a look at the one side that I dont get to see too often. By accident, I discovered that I had two transmission lines leaking. There is a pair of lines in the front that run front metal pipe to rubber hose back to metal pipe. Both were leaking. The Jeep has less than 11,000 miles on it and both were leaking. I cant believe how poor this makes the Jeep look.

Yea, Chrysler has pretty shitty quality. But, look at the bright side; my wife's Yukon has been through a couple of trannys, front joints, and a radio in the first 20,000 miles.

They dont build shit like they used to.

I thought I was the only one. I have to check my tranny fluid every time I change my oil. I never would have thought that 30 years after my leaky, drippy VW wagon, I'd be loosing fluids like this on a "new" vehicle.

Anything can happen to any vehicle. Simply have it repaired when you go in for your next service. That's why we buy new vehicles with warranties.

I am about to void my warranty by installing a supercharger. That is why it is very dishearting to see that a brand new vehicle has such problems.

Void the warranty? That sucks. One dealer near me asked, "to make sure", I got a suspenion guy, and a guy who can regear. Where I bought my jeep asked if I wanted a RE lift installed by them, and gave me wheel options. lol. Some dealers get it, as far as shit like "you installed a snorkel, and becuase of this we cannot warranty the rear window zipper", those suck.

But really, even if you pulled into the dealer with an SC bolted on, they might just throw on new cooler lines for your trans for free. Or, get it done first, then install the SC.....

I am like you.. I have pounded on my JK quite a few times.. Some of them not meaning too.. But it just keeps on going.. I have come to the conclusion that no matter who makes it.. It is going to be a hit or miss issue..

So guess what.

Had the JK up on a lift today and low and behold one of the lines that was replaced (Since OP) is leaking again.

What the Fuck Chrysler?
