Inadequate Rubicon tie rod!

Seriously Chrysler...You know what a Rubicon is for and yet you leave the tie rod exposed and made from very weak material. I bent mine on some rocks this past weekend and wasn't even going hardcore. I just rested the tie rod on a rock and it bent like 14 gauge wire! Oh well, time to upgrade!

We've got a lot of "Blem" Chromo Tie Rods we're unloading for cheap. All cosmetic blems with the same performance and strength. On the shelf and ready to go!

I recently purchased Poly's " blemed tierod" . They say the bends are off but I wouldn't know. At 20% off, I couldn't pass it up, after bending two oem tierods.

If your going to wheel your JK, I highly recommend a tierod upgrade. You won't be wasting your money. I learned quickly not to expect great things from oem parts.

Cool! It is a nice place to live and hasn't changed in 20 years! The wife sells real estate there so if you wanna come back, let me know!

OK, Pulled the trigger and purchased one! Thanks Poly Performance for a great deal!

BTW...I posted on another forum not to be mentioned about the tie rod being bent at their function...aka Mega Meet... and not one sponsor stepped up to offer any help!
Kuddos to Poly Performance for coming to my rescue on here! I am fairly new to the whole forum thing so this just made my mind up on which one I will be hanging out at!

Yes, it was weird. I thought I could get a similar deal there and nothing about this. Then I read some posts about this issue and now I understand! So childish...but anyway again thanks for offering this deal for me. It defiantely helped ease the blow with the wife. I told how much money I was saving and she got suckered into thinking it was a sale. So she heard sale and I was in!

Now I will be paying a price later when she fnds out the real deal...but hey, I am having my moment!

Send a message via Yahoo to Big A

It's always better to ask for forgiveness than permission...

Phase 1 Complete. Sold JK
Phase 2 Complete. Bought a Tow Rig
Phase 3 on-hold. Buying a trail rig. Thinking a TJ or XJ
