bug guts

not sure if this is dirty laundry or not. anyone else notice the exploded bug buildup on the side windows? the leading edge of the mirror must be in just the right spot, because the bugs explode and just cover the front door glass. if the bugs on the windshield are any indication, there were some monster bugs ricocheting off the mirrors. (dragonflies?)

You could always try driving around them.

Talk about a mess....Just wait until a bird flies into your jeep through the back and explodes all over your windshield from the inside. Avian suicide.

Use "rainX" on all your glass the bugs just slide off at speed.

This is a great tip. I have a hard time keeping the windshield clean. Of course I'm lazy and just squeegee it at the gas station.

A male mockingbird...probably showing off for his biatch....like "check this out!"

The rear hardtop was off of the Jeep and I was just mowing the yard....looked over at the Jeep and saw the bastard fly through from behind, smack into the windshield, and fall onto the front passenger seat. Sure enough, he was dead. Scooped him up with my Husky floor liner and tossed him over the fence. And yes, he left some splat on the glass.

I had a piliated wood pecker(the biggest one about19" tall) pissed off at his reflection in my comanchee p/u window, watched him peck the front tire and stuff.
did it every day for a week thought i'd have a flat and broken glass.
Really funny stuff.

There's a product called Hotshot that is a heater for the washer fluid, wires in 12v,They made it to sell in cold climes but found the southies like it cuz the hot fluid takes bugs right off the windshield.

got Jeep got stuff, never enough of the right stuff tho

Am I in deep enough yet?

The thing that really annoys me is the guts trapped in the gap between the windshield glass and the upper frame.

X2, Bounce is what I use, wet it, scrub, they come off way better than anything else I've used.

spray the bug exposed areas with Pam cooking spray prior to driving thru the hoards...especially when the f_ckbugs come out. bug guts wipe off easy.
