Bought a pack of QUICK KAP

Quick Kap front JK emblem cover got them for 1/2 price online from their Instagram ad.

I haven't figured out how to post images.

I've tried Photobucket but it's not working for me and too many ads get in the way.

ExWrench do you have any suggestions? I've used plasti-dip on my Tundra emblems but it's alot of work, this looked simpler and possibly worth the price. I haven't put them on.

I'm not into purely cosmetic modifications - at all - but it's your Jeep, so do whatever you want to it.

I'm sure there's stuff about my Jeep that some folks dislike, but I DGAF because all of my mods are serving me well.
If an "angry" grille (or, similarly, a big purple dildo on the hood) gives you joy, then glue that useless bullshit on

I reserve the right to point and laugh, but that shouldn't matter to you if you're happy with your modifications. Just because I don't care for Jeeps looking like a shit magnet that got dragged through a pile of stick-on bling doesn't mean I want folks prohibited from re-living their childhood joy of playing with Mr Potato Head.

TL/DR: every modification will have folks that don't care for it, so do what makes you happy.

I'm not @ExWrench so s butting-in on you asking his opinion but
let me make life , possibly, a bit easier for you; Mopar makes both chrome and black ( flat & gloss ,iirc) 'Jeep' emblems for the JK/JKU .

you make me not feel like helping you but I am still going to :

• Krylon for plastic satin black
• Testor's model enamel in pen form & is available in flat black.

I find it rather easy to make chromed plastics black ; why on Earth would you buy something like these " caps" for such an elementary adjustment?!

( fwiw, I'm going to steal the two 'e' letter caps off your Jeep if I see them on it ; I could use them for my forum nickname since I could only find 3s at the time )

First mod? Badge and sticker delete.
I know what I'm driving and couldn't care less if anyone else does or not. I don't wave, either.

I peeled all the stickers and badges off mine first-thing also.

Welcome to the shitshow.
If you're into aesthetic mods, cool. I'm not.
But then again @KOWBOY painted his pos yellow and it looks pretty god damned good, so fuck it, your jeep means your way.
....but if you put purple eyelashes on it, y'all can fuck right off.

What's "cool" to me doesn't have to be what's cool to you - that would be boring.

I figured the crap I do wasn't "cool", or more people would be doing it. I'm cool with that.

Besides, if everyone did all the weird shit that I do to my Jeep, what I do would be . . . "normal"

Huh? I didn't see anyone upset.

Frivolous modifications don't upset me, but I'll give honest opinions on them.

Perhaps I didn't phrase my reply correctly - maybe this is clearer:

Nope, "point-and-laugh" is my maximum commitment to a subject that neither affects nor concerns me.
Most likely, I wouldn't say shit unless asked.
I was asked, so I replied honestly.

Thread about stick-on bling in Chit Chat - I'd say it's going remarkably (almost disappointingly) smoothly

Hey Zeus Key Riced, JKO Chit Chat used to have good bloodbath threads.
Now compare stick on bling & an Angry grille to a dildo, & that's drama?

Least I had 'em spray it with a fact'ry shade of yella.

I openly admit the paint job was purely aesthetic and added no performance gain whatsoever. And weldin' the raised jeep letters off the CJ tailgate onto my Million-Dollar Tailgate don't add no performance neither. But I honestly don't see no reason why a functional rig's gotta be ugly. In fact ... I think it's pretty fuckin' cool to have a such a highly capable rig be so purdy.

It's like fuckin' a midget that's actu'ly hot lookin'. Tough to beat.

Which is exactly why the jeep gets reg'lar baths to keep 'er shiny for the daily commute. The 40's and coil overs eat potholes alive!

Carry on ....

Thanks for the two cents Kowboy you're absolutely right. It has nothing to do with operation or performance, it's a hair up the a** that says yeah that looks good.

I was just f-in' messin' 'round.
we have gotten soft , haven't we.

A while back , we would have caused the OP to go either postal angry or just tell us smthn nasty about our mothers , then leave to
spend the remainder of his Jeep days on WF or -godforbid- that Wayoflite (sic) club.

now , the kinder , gentler jko guy will tell the other he need not fucketh-off but may accept the prior-issued, rascally, snide comment as part compliment/part *winkwink-nudgenudge* inside joke, wink nod , as in, "...you're a hipster & don't know it.. like me, you're an aging but unique turd ..." joke.

I know. I'm a little odd sometimes.

@KOWBOY and OP , I can't talk anything about such mods ; swapped my chrometastic plastic Jeep emblems on the JKUS w those Alpine or Altitude model ones so they were blacked out; I was just pushin' buttons making light of the fact that some company can make profit from producing such a concept as color changing caps for the brand logo Good for them & good for you guys for being pleased w your rigs appearance.

I'm still gonna take the "e"s if I see your Jeep , @sprkeng

I went on Mopar's website I didn't find the emblems, but I'll keep searching, and you're right I did a dry run and placed them without sticking them on and no I don't like the look.

I'll keep searching.

This was fun.

I appreciate everyone's opinions. I'm going to Plasti-dip the Jeep emblem, still have a can left over from what I did my Tundra.

This is what I have on each side of my JK.
