I might be more concerned about the insurance company and an explanation. So they cover it...

do you think the paint will be ok?

This is in Canada. They tried to go through a flooded parking lot. Got swamped, they got rescued by the police/fire before if froze solid. They didn't get the jeep out before the temp dropped and froze everything. It probably has hydrolock before it was entombed.

Temps would have to drop pretty quick to freeze solid that fast...

I was thinking that maybe they had enough beer and just camped out on the top drinking until they could just walk away dry!
