Ashame to be born in QC

Today i learn that my former province did the utmost unforgettable thing i ever heard, removed the Canadian flag from the red room....yes they did put it back for now but plan to remove it again as soon all the official sworn are done.

Since i did see both side of the medal ill honestly say its time to Canada to put their pants and slap that troublesome child. All the money injected in this damn province could be use in a better way.

I'm sad to see my birthplace going down the drain,a did travel all across Canada, yes there is bad people everywhere but only in QC did a found people being belligerent toward you.....

Let me explain,i work in Alberta and last year during the summer , i did return in QC for family reason.Little did i know my AB plate would causes me such a headache. Getting stop by the cops several time per week, getting yell at the red light to return where im from ,that a fucking English is not welcome.....You think im overacting? Soon i put QC plate on the vehicle ,it stopped the same day......

Roll back last November, drove back in AB with the QC plate ......only time i got stop by the cops, was in Ontario and he just wanted to tell me they was a big snow storm on the way , to be careful since they would be no way to stop on the side of the road because of the snow removal equipment running constantly at night.....

Took me 4 month to put back the AB plate on the jeep and not once did i got the finger ,got stop by the cops and i did drive several time in Edmonton.

Seriously shame on you Quebec separatist people ,im proud to be Canadian i like the diversity of my country and while i don't agree with all our policy,i still thing we should be proud of what we are .

Winter is coming.

Wow....that's quite a sad commentary on a problematic part of our country right from someone who has seen both sides of the coin clearly.

C'mon, cut the guy some slack, he tries much harder to learn English than a majority of the people who don't speak English here in my state. I give him props. I used to work for MicroThermo Technologies out of Laval and most of the people I dealt with were French Canadian folks who spoke very broken English. You didn't see me trying to learn French so I kept my mouth shut and appreciated the effort on their end. Us stubborn Americans are terrible about trying to learn alternate languages.

I, too, am ashamed of been from Qc and consider myself being a Canadian and not a Quebecer... I can't wait to move out of there :banghead:

Wasn't referring to you as an American. I was referring to myself and others like me on here and abroad...

I was born in Ottawa, but adopted by a familiy across the river in Quebec. I did all my education in the french system and learned English as a second language. I've traveled the USA and Canada when I was in the Army reserves and now as a truck driver. I have seen racism go both ways and it always stems from ignorance. The people of Quebec are fed up with Harper so they are presently leaning towards their "roots", it does not mean they will vote for separation even if Marois gets back in with a majority.

As a firearm owner I have my share of frustrations with this province...

Wow that post covered a lot of ground there, english/french language, USA, Canada, Army, racism, ignorance, Quebec, Harper, separation, Marois and firearms however I see little to no explanation to connect the keywords here. Care to elaborate a little?

Sorry guys I know its a lot to understand for someone that is not up to speed to Canadian politics.

I was generally referring to some of the previous posts, the basic message being that wherever you go you will encounter an ignorant minority and it does not depend on your, or their ethnic/linguistic background.

Oh don't worry, I'm up to speed with Canadian politics and had been living in "la belle Province" for over two decades so I have a pretty good knowledge about the people and the life there as well. However even with that knowledge your post was just some thrown together keywords

You should probably fix your own grammar mistakes before making fun of others.
