Whipsaw 2012 - July 28th-29th

Am just posting this here from JKF. Yes it's early, but it's been scheduled.

Edit: For those leaving on Saturday. LanceJK is leaving Chilliwack at 730am (at the very absolute latest). This means gassed up and ready to go. He wants to meet at the Tim Hortons on Industrial Way at 7am. The address is 43971 Industrial Way (there's also google map images below). IF need be, I have his cell# (am not going to post it on a forum). PM me, or text me at 8six73324400, and I'll send it to you.

Looking at the map, I figure between 3-3.5 hours from Chilliwack to the 1st cabin (and gas in Princeton) that allows us to be hitting the trail by 11ish. Lots of time to play and check shit out and still hopefully get to the camping spot early enough to secure spots... ?

I'll either figure someway to mark the trail for Lance, or will go back and guild him in. It might be the blind leading the blind... but so be it.

Going through the 2 forums, this is who I have as coming/maybe. 23 confirmed!

Rubichronic - Leaving Friday
BigD74 - Leaving Friday
Troyboy
Riptide - Leaving Friday
Pat - Leaving Friday
likes2jeep - Leaving Friday
abbotsford50 - Leaving Friday
Starcat - Leaving Friday
Raidue - Leaving Friday
Matt M - Leaving Friday
Spillidge - Leaving Friday
Alex C - Leaving Friday (will meet us at the cabin)
jkroller33 - traveling from AB.
LanceJK
Scorpius
Rmnichols
shayu + 5 confirmed - Saturday

Maybe:
Evdog
Aratson
Newwarngleroldcj7

There's 2 groups leaving Friday. One at 2pm, and one at 5/6pm. Both will be camping at the first cabin and waiting for everyone else to arrive on the Saturday.

Location of the Timmies.

Oh I'm coming down! On a side note, I watched the videos of the Sept 2011 run that need2jeep(?) took with you and a few others I recognized. Lots of the rigs were rocking the trail skins!!

Nope, still have them, they've been stuck to my front door, washer/dryer, and shed doors for the last 6-7 months. Love the flat black look.

Would love limb raisers, however I'm going to incorporate those into my lightbar or rack (depends on which rack I get).

Good idea...that'll make them easy peasy to make then. I'll give you the hood latch brackets and wire seeings how you're driving all the way down here again. Those and whatever rack you go with will do it.

Sweet, and thanks!

BigD, Troyboy said the more the merrier... invite whomever. I don't think he was expecting too many people, but he did give the okay.

One of the things I noticed last summer, as that forum politics never really came up at all. I might not do a run based on who's going, but I wouldn't pass based on where they spend some of their time.

I'm in!!!! I posted a Whipsaw run here and on the dreaded JKF last year and never got banned. Looks like us northern folks know how to get along. Good to see the NW crew from the states is showing interest too!

Pat, the comedy tour should be good this year since it's your birthday
